Athletic young ruckman who made massive strides in 2000 when, after playing just six games in 1998-99, he was forced to carry the following division in the absence of Clark Keating. Did a superb job, finishing second in the AFL in ruck hitouts and third in the Norwich Union AFL Rising Star. An improving marking target up forward destined for a long career, he is a nephew of former League players Garry and Allan Sidebottom.
